This reminds me how important is to act on ideas. It’s arguably more important to act on an idea than have it in the first place. 
In other words, doing>thinking.
Everyone has one of those “big ideas” where they think they could make a million dollars, or at least gain some notoriety of some kind. Months or years later, someone took that idea, did it bigger and better than they ever thought could be done, and is thus making their money, and gaining their fame, while you sit there on you couch using said product or service. To some people, they are ok with this. They just want their idea to exist. 
Others feel down, knowing they could have been the one in control of this fantastic new thing, and help guide it’s growth, expansion and the way people use it.
I’ll leave you to with your thoughts about something you missed out on.
